Olivia (Studio Manager)

My fitness journey started through an instant love affair with Pilates, which I took up about three years ago. I eagerly threw myself into all types – matwork, reformer, barre – I loved it.

I enrolled to get certified as a PT and completed my Cert III in Fitness, although I envisioned later becoming a physio or OT later. By the time it finished though, I was having such a good time, I stayed on this path. So now, my qualifications lie in both Pilates and personal training as I have a Cert III and IV in Fitness, and a Pilates Matwork and Reformer Certificate.

I love the positive attitude of all the SpeedFit staff. All the trainers deeply care about their clients and are so focused on helping them. Seeing clients get such quick results is rewarding – and addictive! And I wanted to be a part of that, so I joined the team in 2018.

I’ve recently become a big fan of fishing and skateboarding; however, I also love to read, spend time by the beach and TRAVEL!

I’d worked and lived in many countries before I decided I want to have a career where I helped people more directly than what I’d been doing. My friends have always told me I should be a personal trainer as I am always in the gym, playing sport and staying active.

I am a certified Australian Strength and Conditioning coach, have a Functional Movement Screening: Level II, and have a Certificate III & IV in Fitness.

When I first started doing classes at SpeedFit, I was impressed with my gains in stability and strength in such a short time – and realised that EMS training had huge potential. Plus, the turquoise and blue tees look good with my skin tone. :p

I joined the SpeedFit team in 2018. The best part of the job is watching the clients’ eyes light up the first time they feel their muscles activate – and then watching them willingly take control of their health because SpeedFit has finally given them the tools to make this possible.

While not working, I like to surf, skate, eat, take my shoes off, sit in the sunlight and listen to music.
