Alex (Studio Manager)

My journey into the fitness industry was paved through my passion for helping people in need, my sporting career and a serious personal injury – all of which gave me a first-hand understanding of the mental and physical requirements needed to succeed.

At 20, I had a major sporting accident which left me in a wheelchair for over six months. I experienced major weight gain, and my strength and fitness spiralled downhill, along with my mental attitude. After years of rehab and hard work, it was my trainer who thought I had what it takes to make personal training a career.

Since 2016, I’ve never looked back, working with a range of trainers, mentors and industry professionals as I continue to learn and grow as a well-rounded coach and trainer. I’m a certified Personal Trainer and Fitness Trainer, TRX Instructor, Kettle Bell Instructor and am currently completing my Diploma in Nutrition and Health Coaching.

I started SpeedFit in 2018 after being introduced by a friend. With my severely damaged ankles, I was blown away by the low-impact, technical approach of the EMS training which left me feeling exhausted but stable and flexible.

These days I worked as studio manager at our beautiful Canning Vale branch. Every day is so exciting, and I’m so proud to be a part of the connections we’re building among our team, clientele and the community.

When I’m not working, travelling is a real passion of mine, along with training and developing alongside my horses once again –  now I’m able to move back into equestrian.
